Who is The Mayoress?

- Ms. Pressler is a New Yorker who, years ago after attending a marvelous staged reading of Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle, thought it would be most hilarious if she were mayor and made everyone refer to her as The Mayoress. The nickname stuck. She works as a marketing consultant and in her spare time, volunteers on campaigns and runs a lot. She likes the arts, marathons, SVU, hip hop, opera, brunch, the Obamas, WNYC, style, fun events, and people who read her blog.
Sorry Sugar- close but not quite accurate- Rev. Caldwell is the man who officiated the wedding of Jenna Bush to Henry Hager last month. NOT Jenna's hubby.

I agree with Rev. Caldwell who stated that its a "crime that Senator Obama has to explain that he is a Christian".
The Senator, no matter how wacky his former pastor is, is surely a man of God- and a man of Faith. Its too bad that the religious right is using this false issue as a platform for doubt.
However- lets get the facts straight- Husband Henry, as I call him :-), is a 100% Card Carrying GOP backer...
