Debate Review

"Wednesday night’s debate was another chance for Mr. McCain to prove that he is ready to lead this country out of its deep economic crisis. But he had one answer to almost every economic question: cut taxes and government spending. Unfortunately, what Mr. McCain means is to cut taxes for the richest Americans and, inevitably, to reduce the kinds of government services that working Americans need more than ever."

I'm going to send this article to my family and friends who are still undecided or leaning McCain. Check it out and do the same.

  1. The old man came out swinging and had Obama on the defensive. Obama's gloves were up, defending the punches, but he wasn't going for the counter-punch. McCain's best punch was, "I'm not George Bush. If you want to run against George Bush, you should have run in 2004." Then came Obama's first counter-punch, "Well, I'm sorry if I've confused the two you of, you seem to agree with him on 90% of his policies."

McCain had him boxed into the corner early, but couldn't deliver that final punch. Instead, as the debate wore on, Obama came out of the corner and seemed to have a little more energy. If it were only three rounds, McCain would have won, but it the full 15 and Obama had more energy in the end.

The decision: tie or lean Mccain, but no "game-changer."

Barack, is how this teacher rolls!
